TK Movers provides labor-only loading, unloading, or loading-and-unloading assistance for customer-provided rental trucks, trailers, moving containers, and storage units. Every standard booking includes exactly two movers. TK Movers does not provide a moving truck, transportation, vehicle operation, packing, or full-service relocation.
Your move details
Provide accurate addresses, contact information, property access details, stair and elevator information, vehicle or container size, and an approximate description of the belongings. Disclose particularly heavy, oversized, hazardous, or difficult items and access restrictions before booking. Material complications require review; submission of details does not guarantee acceptance.
Customer preparation
You are responsible for supplying and operating a suitable moving vehicle, having belongings packed, arranging parking and required property permissions, confirming elevator access where needed, and maintaining a clear work route. TK Movers may pause or decline unsafe work. Any resulting scope or scheduling change should be documented and communicated before further work proceeds.
Availability and confirmation
Appointments depend on actual crew availability and supported service locations. A requested time or checkout hold is not a confirmed booking. Confirmation requires successful server-verified deposit payment and a genuine booking confirmation. Arrival details are stated in the confirmed booking, using America/Chicago time. Online appointments require at least 25 elapsed hours of notice. Service hours are Monday–Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m., America/Chicago; Sunday is closed.
Rates and payment
The $150 deposit is paid through Stripe at booking and credited once. No automatic advance balance charge or saved-card balance authorization applies to new bookings. After job completion, documented actual duration determines the service total: $199 per crew hour, 2-hour/$398 minimum, then 15-minute/$49.75 increments. A validated welcome discount deducts $100 once from the booking total, never per hour. All net settled payments are credited; remaining charges use a secure hosted invoice only after completion. Overpayments require a source-specific refund.
Multi-location jobs
Loading and unloading at different addresses is available only when both service locations are supported. Travel between those locations is billable job time. The crew's initial commute to the first location is excluded. The customer supplies the vehicle and driver throughout the move.
Changes, cancellation, and refunds
Requested changes depend on actual availability and the cancellation policy accepted with the booking. The revised draft proposes a nonrefundable $150 deposit on customer cancellation, subject to applicable law and refunds when TK Movers cancels, cannot perform or materially breaches the agreement. New balances are invoiced only after actual completed service. Historical accepted terms are not silently replaced. No new automatic balance authorization is requested.
Questions or concerns about a job
Raise questions about service, documented time, payment, or possible damage through TK Movers' verified contact method and include the booking ID and relevant details. The owner must approve a fair claims procedure and any applicable coverage disclosures before these terms are used. This draft does not disclaim liability for worker negligence or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Privacy and policy acceptance
Booking information is handled as described in the approved Privacy Policy. At checkout, acceptance of the policy version and billing rules is recorded with a timestamp. Changes to future policy versions do not silently replace the terms accepted for an existing booking.
Required business details
Before publication, add the verified legal business identity, customer contact method, effective date, approved cancellation terms, and any required notices. Owner and legal review must determine applicable requirements for the actual service model and locations.
Hourly Billing Disclosure
One two-person crew
Each booking includes exactly two movers at $199 per hour for the entire crew. The minimum is 2 billable hours, or $398.
Estimated hours and actual billing
The hours selected at booking are an estimate used to plan the appointment, not a fixed-price promise. The final invoice uses documented billable job duration. Billable time is never less than 2 hours. Above that minimum, time is rounded up to the next 15-minute increment, at $49.75 per increment.
Travel between service locations
On a loading-and-unloading booking at separate locations, travel between those service locations is billable job time. The crew's initial commute to the first service location is excluded.

Final invoice review
After completion, TK Movers records actual job duration and reconciles the final service total against all settled payments net of refunds. An overpayment is refunded; any additional amount is sent through a separate secure hosted invoice. Additional actual-time amounts are never charged automatically. Any applicable additional fee must be disclosed before booking; no undisclosed fee is authorized by this draft.
Welcome discounts
One valid promotional code per booking provides a $100 booking-level discount, never a hourly discount. One welcome discount per first-time customer across all codes is checked using normalized email and phone. Codes may be used by different eligible first-time customers. The fixed $150 deposit is unchanged. A successfully paid discounted booking consumes the welcome benefit even if later cancelled or refunded. Failed unpaid checkouts do not consume the benefit once released.
